granite care

I just had my paradiso Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops installed yesterday and (http://maplered.com) now i feel like i am home with a new baby and (http://maplered.com) no clue what to do!!  I am looking for care advice and (http://maplered.com) after reading some of the messages here I am more confused!  I thought Granite (http://tanbrown.org) was a good choice because we have 6 kids (5 boys) and (http://maplered.com) needed a tough Material (http://g654.org) to stand (http://maplered.com) up to the abuse they inflict.  I know that Granite (http://tanbrown.org) needs sealing periodically and (http://maplered.com) the installers applied a sealer but how often do you need to seal and (http://maplered.com) what kinds of things will stain it?  A friend already has this type of Granite (http://tanbrown.org) (paradiso) and (http://maplered.com) she has had no problems with it so I thought it was a good choice (plus I love the way it looks!). 
Also, we both would like to know where Paradiso is mined.  Thanks!!!
